With the help of Jason Childress at Gateway Performance Suspension I won the American Nostalgia Racing Association Championship for the 2009 season in the Hot Rod Eliminator category.

Jason came to me with his coil over strut front suspension and disk brake conversion to use on my 1965 Ford Ranchero Drag racing car. My car was always a handful on the dragstrip trying to keep it going straight and "in the groove" with the stock front suspension in it. My car now goes right down the middle of the track with almost no steering correction needed pass after pass. It made my car much easier to drive down the dragstrip and it is much more consistent due to this . The disk brakes are outstanding bringing my car to a stop effortlessly and straight as an arrow! My car has never been easier to drive than it is now with this suspension system in it . As any drag racer knows the less you have to worry about your car - the better you are . My car has never been more consistent than it is now in 9 seasons of racing which helped win this Championship.

On another note the installation was simple - A true "bolt in" design that took an afternoon to completely replace the front suspension mounting up to all original locations with all hardware needed to complete the job . How many "bolt in" products have you installed that turned out to be nightmares? I would suggest this kit to anyone whether you are a serious racer or looking to update your street car . This is the best upgrade I have ever made on my race car .
